MRI Integration Process

Updated: Nov 30, 2023

MRI utilizes an API license called MIX. This license can be either owned by the vendor or by the client.

To begin your process to get access to MRI's mix license you can visit their website by clicking here.

API – Retrieve

MRI provides API access called MIX to vendor partners as well as clients. This access is used to develop API integrations and there is a cost to license MIX unless all clients already have a MIX license. This API process allows companies to retrieve data made available by MRI in differing data sets and can be filtered and controlled by MRI. (see additional information on API development principles within the Methodology section below)

API – Create/Update Records

Custom API – Reporting

MRI allows MRI Partners to also create custom API datasets for access. Similar to standard API’s this process varies by allowing the MRI Partner to add additional data elements and filtering to the API for use.

Custom Reporting Outside the API

Similar to Yardi, MRI offers a “reporting” solution. This method does not require a MIX license and provides data sets in table format for the receiver to consume within their product. A licensed MRI client must be involved in the integration and requires any past or future MRI Licensed Clients to be in good standing to use the integration.
